I have WIN2K Pro and I am looking into starting up a FTP server. Is there anything built into IIS to run a FTP server?

For most basic uses, the built in FTP server works fine. I wouldn't say it's not user friendly, but you might need to play with it a while to get it setup as you like.
 
While we are on this topic. How come the users are still prompted for a password when I ticked allow anonymous access and ONLY allow anonymous access???
 
make sure you have the "let Win2K manage password" enabled and choose the default FTP guest account to use for the anonymous account.
