I have a drive that has about 20,000 'sensitive' 4-6 megabyte files, and im thinking of using efs to encrypt it.
How does win2k encyption work? Does it mount it unencypted or encrypt on the fly? Would i experince lots of lagtime?
How long would the encypting process take? Any other advice?
