Win2K Drive Letter Help

I just went back to Win2K Pro from WinXP Pro. In WinXP I had my Zip drive set to drive letter B. For some reason B is not showing as an option under Disk Management when I try and change the drive letter in Win2K. B is listed in My Computer but it isn't available under Disk Management. Any suggestions on how I can get this to work?

I just check under disk management on my system (Win-2k, SP2) and the lowest drive letter it will allow me assign to the Zip drive is D:. Are you sure you had your Zip drive as B:?

The reason I ask is A: & B: are usually reserved for floppy drives, and C: is usually the first hard drive in a system.

Yeah I used B in both Win98SE and WinXP. It just won't let me in Win2K. Thought I must be missing something.
