Its really fuzzy but I recall reading a thread a few days ago and someone mentioning there was a option under win2k to allow you to run .exe's with different compatability profiles (like win98,95) is this for real? is it in xp? is it ONLY for xp?
The latest Windows Compatiblity updates in windows update of windows 2000 adds the compatiblty mode in windows 2000. But you got to have a shortcut of the program or game then right click on it click propties then go to the compatiblity tab and then chose what you want to run it in and see if it works.
Also on MS website they have windows 2000 compatibility toolkit 1.1 which comes with a more advanced compatiblity mode for 2000 just like in widows xp. Not sure if there is much different between them both or not.
