It is a little to late now as I have already reinstalled win2k but I have some questions for future reference. I was attempting to overclock my k6-3 450 to 500 by changed the mulitplier and the voltage. Memory checked just fine and I was able to boot into Mandrake Linux 7.2 no problem Then I tried Win2k, it started to boot it gave a error Stop and then listed some hexadecimal(or is it octadecimal? I'm even in a Digital Logic class right now and I'm not sure :( ) numbers (I assume memory blocks?) like 0x00000000 though 0x00000005. I put my processor back to normal and tried the restore last know good config. and Win2k still gave the same message. I tried to do a repair with the cd and it still have me the message. Finally I just reinstalled it over itself. What cause this problem, obviously my attemp to overclock but why? And how can I be prepared for it in the future?

Is that the same as the repair option on the cd? If so I tried that and it didn't work. I'm just going to use Norton Ghost tonight to back up my whole disk with both win2k and mandrake.
