win2k: apm bug?

hi,

i finally got apm installed on my win2k pro /w sp2, which runs under standard pc mode.. whenever i shut down my computer using the 'shut down' command, w2k usually turn off the power, but sometime, it just reset the computer eventhough i'm sure that i selected the 'shut down' command. is there anyway to fix it?
