Win2k and virtual memory

If you have not made any changes to the default settings, Win2K allocates System RAM x 1.5 for an initial swap file size, and can expand it when needed until your partition is filled.

Therefore, if you have 256MB of RAM, the initial size will be 384MB.

You can access the settings by right clicking on My Computer and selecting Properties. The settings are on the last tab.
