Win2k and Network Access

I'm on a LAN at university, I'm using win2k and everyone else is using win98. No one else can access things on my machine when I make them available. It always asks fo passwords that I haven't set, when I go to their machines its fine, but sometimes asks for a username and password, when they only specified a password.

Any ideas?

Ok, well to solve you problem, you have to create an account or accounts for the users on the 2K system. Then, with the 98 machines, they have to logon on to the system using the same username/password as the account on the 2K machine. This should solve your problems. Or you can just enable the guest account, though this is unrecommended for secutiry reasons.
