Win2k And Gaming

Excuse me for opening this huge can of worms if it's already been dumped all the over the ground and stepped on over and over, but what do people think about Win2k as far as gaming goes? I have:

Thunderbird 900MHz
256mb pc133 (getting 256 more today, as a matter of fact)
Asus A7V
Radeon 64mb DDR VIVO
SB Live! X-Gamer
Windows 98SE

What I'm wondering is, should I upgrade to Win2k? I don't use this machine as a pure gaming machine, I have other things I need to use it for as well. ANyone have any problems running their games on Win2k?

Win2K is perfect for gaming, at least for me. As long as you don't play any old outdated titles or and EA games you'll be fine.

Win2k user here and plenty happy. List of games played/playing:
Half-Life (and mods, mainly Counter-Strike)
Unreal Tournament
Quake3 (and mods)
Quake2 (and mods)
GlQuake
Tropico
Bridge Builder
Serious Sam
Tribes2
Diablo2

I'm pretty much an FPS player and haven't had a problem with any games I typically play under Win2k. With Win2k you may want to tweak the refresh rate for your video card (otherwise they default to 60hz), but that's about it.
