Does anybody have a win2k driver for the Intel PC Camera, USB version. I am dual booting Win98SE and Win2k A.S. and I hate to switch back and forth when I need to use my camera. Can anybody help please? Thanks in advance.

A 2-minutes tour to Intel's website lead me to the beta Win2K drivers page. Surely, you could've found it too, had you bothered to look.

And BTW, why are you running Win2K Advanced Server, instead of professional? Do you have more than 4 CPUs? More than 2GB RAM (or is it 4GB)? Do you use terminal services?

Thanks PJ, I did go through the Intel site various times and I did not find that page, I went specifically to the support webpage which led me to drivers/software....but nothing that said win2k. Thanks for the link. Also, no I don't have 4 CPUs, more than 2GB RAM, nor do I use terminal services, I just had a copy of it and thought I'd give it a try until I get Professional on my system. A.S. is very stable and really manages my resources very efficiently, I hope Professional does the same thing.

BTW: Advanced Server min. req. are 256mb RAM, and only 1CPU, you don't have to have 2gb RAM or 2CPUs. Thanks for info anyways.

hell, i've ran AS on 128mb ram no problem at all even.

just wanted to give server a try, and only had AS handy.
much better web hosting than PRO

but yes, PRO does a very good job for what its made for

My friend runs AS because he has the disk he copied from his office.

He's very ignorant IMO. He goes and runs FIFA2001 and tells me it crashes (and then tells me the game doesn't work and it's my fault because I burned him a copy). He also installs the new SB Live! Platinum 5.1 when on the box it says Win2k Pro support only He then installs all these drivers meant for Win2k Pro and he gets BSOD'd all the time.

No one needs AS. You're not supposed to use AS. You install your server applications on it, do your config, then let it run. To administer it you use RAS or terminal services.

I'd suggest you go back to Win2k Pro to avoid further problems.

Suberbaby, I'll be doing that as soon as I get Win2k Pro, I've been thinking about it for a while now. Thanks for the advice.
