I'm getting ready to format and repartition my drive so that I can install win2k advanced server and Debian. I can finally get rid of win98 becuase I've finally figured out (with the help of the forums) how to get my AIW capture working under win2k (whoo hoo)..
I am going to;

Make some partitions - ntfs first five gigs
- linux native + swap (later with the debian setup)
- ntfs (for secure network folder)
- fat32 (for an open network folder)

Install win2k Server
VIA 4 in 1s
Video card drivers
Directx + update
Service Pack 2

Debian install

Does this sound okay? Do I have the order mixed up or anything? I'm not too nervous about this (I usually am, that's why I'm scared).. so let me know if that plan needs fixing. I'm almost done backing sh!t up, so I'll be starting on this tonight. Thanks.

Thanks.. I hope so. I was just worried that lilo woudln't be as easy to get working properly as it was w/ mandrake.

It should be the same lilo. Anyway, it's very easy. I've used Debian for about 3 years now, and
if you have a problem, I'll try to help out.
