My win2k wont give my 98 machine permission to access its shared resources. The 98 machine says "No permission to access resource" How do I fix this?
 
When you try to access the 2k computer does it ask you for a password?

Get into your 2000 box and see if your guest account is enabled. Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Users and Groups. Make sure its enabled.
