Ok
I have a Voodoo3 and a Proview 786 monitor. I got the proper monitor drivers and set those up, so it keeps my desktop at 85Hz, even if I go into a game and leave, my desktop goes back to 85.
In Quake3 (OpenGL) I get 60Hz when...in Starcraft (DirectDraw) I get 85Hz....haven't tried anything in D3D yet....
Any ideas?
Oh yeah I tried Voodoo Frequency Selector that's definately not going to happen again...See the text below the bar here and you'll see why VoodooFreqSel is a no-go.
Do I have any other options, or do I just have to live with 60Hz in games at least openGL ones...
It's probably ok as my V3 can't even produce 60fps...but it'd still be nice to have over 60Hz in Q3 and SOF
