Win2000 $ Xp Time?

I know that Linux/Unix store time in registers(in seconds). How that is done in Windows 2000, XP? Where the time is stored? Does Windows OS has the same problem of time (by 2031 no space to store the seconds in 32 bits register) as Linux has?

Thanks

I think is 2038 that the Unix-like systems will have problems. BTW, much better question, consider this a friendly bump 😛
