getting W2000 pro and ME tomorrow to add to my network. should i make ME a dual boot with my existing 98 machine(pII 350) and put 2000 by itself on my duron 750? or should i put both ME and 2000 on the duron? also, whichever you recommend, how do i set up a dual boot machine with these OS's? never done it before. thanks

scrap WinME and dual boot Win2000Pro and Win98SE. Simply install Win98SE and run setup on the Win2000Pro CD while Win98SE is running. It should take it from there.

I just wnated to add to what stealth said. When you run setup on the 2000 cd do not select upgrade.

just note if your HD is attached using a Promise Ultra ATA100 PCI or otherwise not normally supported EIDE controller, you MAY need to present a driver disk during Win2000Pro install
