Win2000 - How to access a network printer w/o a login/password?

The office's new printer is hooked up to a Win2K box.

I'm now currently in the process of adding the printer to everyone's computers (some are Win98, some W2K). If I go through the "Add Printer" module, it does not allow me to access the new printer. I then need to open up the Windows Explorer, click on the computer it's hooked up to, and it asks for a login/password to access the computer. I then log in as Administrator. After I do that, THEN the printer shows up under Add Printer.

Is there any way to access the printer on this computer without having to log in as Administrator on every other computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You could just set up accounts on the Win2k box for all your clients and give them restricted access to just the printer.

Brilliant! That fixed it. Thanks for the help. I'm giving you a 10. 😀

Seems like such a simple solution. Well, thankfully I'm not actually a sysadmin or anything... I'm an economist who just happens to know the most about computers around here. 🙂
