win10 explorer search function does not work as expected

I noticed when trying out search, that at least since the last windows update it seems to miss finding files.
When searching for files which has a " , " in the name comes up with zero results when only typing a " , " in the search box.
Also, i just tried it out when making a copy of a file and naming that file copy2. That the search does not find the file when searching for 2 or y2 or py2 or opy2. It needs the full name copy2.

Is the indexing gone wrong or messed up ?
I tested it at work and at home and several colleagues have the same issue.
All win10 machines recently updated since last week.

Is there any reason why this should happen ?

That works here too, but it used to work without wildcards. That is what i do not understand. Must be some update gone wrong.
I will try to rebuild the search index.
A few weeks ago, the pc on my work, even the startmenu search did not work anymore at all.
I had to ask for the help of the IT professional to get it to work again since i needed admin rights that i do not have normally.
