I saw this for the very first time the other day and suppose this is the price we pay for cheap windows.
That's a good idea, it could block everything apart from the update servers. You know, if they continue with this silly direction, there is going to be a adblockPlus for the OS, which basically blackholes MS's ad servers.
Larry let we forget it was a free upgrade for 7+ users so some charity was involved.😀 I have an unused copy of 7 ult laying around and I hope that I can use it later this year to upgrade to 10 on a new build otherwise I have a new copy of 10 education to use.Yeah. I could see it, if it were an ad-supported version of Windows, like $20-30 a copy, for the end-user. But it's not. It's $100, which has always been the traditional OEM and Retail Upgrade price of Windows, more or less.
Bring back the Family Packs, Microsoft!

Just disable notifications on storage providers and it will go away.😛The people who received a free upgrade also had a version of Windows that they paid for in some way. What about the people who paid for 10 Home? Or 10 Pro which costs significantly more.
Charity... oh please.
