Ok here's the run down. Win2k installed on my machine. Wireless router running to the cable modem. wireless card installed on my sisters machine that has winxp. All sharing of the drives is enabled on both computers. I can see her drives and access them, she can't see mine though. (I know Win2k sucks for networking, but thats what I got so lets deal with it). How can I make it so she can access and see my computer. (Kinda important cause my computer has the printers on them and I want to set them up as network printers).

Any other info you guys might need just ask and I'll let ya know. Thx in advance, hopefully someone can help me out.

Actually, 2K works just as well as XP for me as far as networking goes.

Can you see your computer in her Network Neighborhood? What indications do you get? Can you ping each machine from the other machine?

Haven't tried pinging. No I can't see her computer, but she can see mine. I'll try the pinging, and Im pretty sure it'll work. Ive had this problem before on networks. I'd be able to see everyone, but they would never see me. So if I hosted a LAN game or something they wouldn't see it. But I could always join theirs.

You can try enabling NETBIOS over TCP/IP in advanced TCP/IP properties on both computers. If that fails, there's always the old standby, install the NETBEUI protocol on both machines. Here's a direct link to the XP files, since they're buried in the VALUEADD directory of the CD. NETBEUI XP Files Download
