Win XP will not boot up (error msg/blue screen)

Edit: No need for a response on this. I tried formatting the drive and it stated that it could not be formated because of errors. Drive is dead. I am RMA'ing it to see what WD says about it. I'll probably get a refurbished Raptor in return, but it's better than nothing!

XP Pro fully updated
Intel P965LT MB
Kaspersky Security Suite 7.0
WD Raptor SATA 75gb (1 partition) It's going on 2 years old. The drive is visable in the bios setup
(If you need the other rig stats, look below)

Error code
UnMountable_Boot_Volume

Ok, a few days ago I was up 'till about midnight on my pc surfing computer forums and YouTube with no problems. Left it on a YouTube page and went to bed. When I woke up about 9am that morning, the page was still up and I could move the cursor but the page would'nt close and I could'nt do anything....... Ctrl/Alt/Delete, Shutdown, Restart...... Nothing.

I hit the reset button and XP would not boot. It would get to the "Windows is loading" screen and then the HDD would make a very wierd noise. After the noise, it would get to the error and restart and do the same thing over and over.

Things I've tried.

Safe Mode and all othe boot types....... Do not work, they all do the same thing.
Repair from the retail XP disc
Burned a disc with Data Recovery software (NTFS.com) on it but no luck
(I forgot which of the two above things told me, but one stated...... "There are Unrecoverable errors)

Is there anything someone can suggest, a very good software recovery, which I can burn to a disc and try? I would hook the drive up to this pc I'm on and see if I could pull the contents off, but it's IDE.

Help me Obiwan!
