Win XP...what happens if I install but don't activate?

I understand there is a 30day trial. Will it "uninstall" itself back to my previous OS after that time?

It'll lock the OS up until you DO activate it.

After the 30 day grace period is up, you will not be able to boot into Windows.

Maybe you could install...then use Norton Ghost on the disk. Then just re-image it every 30 days.
