Win XP Upgrade Help

I have Win 98 and am going to upgrade to XP, but I don't have the Win 98 CD. Does that mean I need to upgrade to the full version of XP or can I still use the upgrade version? I do have the Win 98 CD copied to a folder on my HD, though. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
 
Hey Vakero,

Buy the OEM version from www.newegg.com . $87. MS has relaxed it's OEM policy from what I understand, so, even if you buy a $1 cable, it qualifys for the license. I believe you can only do a clean install with the OEM version and the software is not supported by MS. If I am misled on this, please anyone, correct me...hope this helps,
