Win xp pro PROBLEM

So I was just playing ut 2k4 , and the pc froze ( the pc is new - 3 weeks old , so I was suprised but I fought its more likely because I didnt do scandisks enough or something ) , well I manually restarted the pc , and what do you know , when theres the windows xp laoding screen , it was loading very long , than it froze , and went to bsod , from which it restarted immedietly so I couldnt read the problem .

So once it restarted I tried last known working konfiguration and than safe mode , when I trief last working konfiguration , same happened as when I ran it normal , when I tried safe mode , it froze on a black screen with a flashing _ .

So I tried some stuff in bios , like disable quick booting , booting device , etc . None worked , I even tried setting year to 2000 , because my win xp pro is pretty old and I fought it could fix it .

So I turned off the psu , took out the energy cable , waited like 30 secs , plugged it back and it worked , Im pretty sure the pc didnt overheat , maybe hd .

A few more things , in the down left corner of win xp , it keeps showing safely removing hardware and it shows I can remove my hd , this all might be caused because I didnt install the hd sata drivers yet , but I really dont know , any help will be apreciated .
 
Is the PC a clone or is it something you built yourself?

It's normal for a SATA drive to come up as a removable device.
 
What temperature is your CPU running at?

BSODs are usually hardware related, and your problems definitely sound like a heat issue.

unsafe websites do this to your computer, anyway:

lately, the unreal servers have been really crappy, I would not be surprized if someone got into your computer through Unreal 'cuz their servers are hella izzy
 
Its configured pc from a e-shop , oh I didnt really look on the temperature of my cpu , MrChad could you give me a link ?

fure400 , know of any good , free antivirus ? I got lots of 30 day trials etc , but some simple free antivirus ?

Ill also try defragmenting .

I mean if something happens to the pc , I have a two years guarantee and I bought the pc 1 month ago 🙂 .
 
Ok so what happnened now , I actually got a bsod which I could read -

Machine chech exception
- Stop 0x000 000 9c ( 0x000 000 04 , 0x5053f0f0 , 0xb2 000 000 , 0x 000 70f0f )

It also said , I should cancel abilities of memory in bios , like saving to "between " ( im from czech , my english is not perfect ) memory or to "shadow controller " .

I would also apreciate a program in which I could see the temperature of my cpu .

EDIT : Ok so I have the sata raid drivers , but I dont know how to install them , I dont have a floppy so I uploaded the drivers from a site and downloaded them on my pc from the site , what should I do now ? All I can find is that you install drivers when you install windows xp pro , you press f6 , but I dont have win xp pro at the moment ! What should I do ?

EDIT 2 : In bios it says cpu has 42 C - fan speed 3700 rpm , northbridge fan speed - 5800 rpm , but the C might get higher when I play ut 2k4 .
 
Ok , so I fought of it and , I never get this bsod when I play cs , after a long time when playing ut 2k4 , and in like 2 hours when I play guild wars , when it freezes in guild wars , it goes to black screen , so I think it could be a problem with gpu , 6600 gt msi , Ill try setting the bios to default , because the people that made the pc might have done something with it , also anyone know how to turn off the between memory in bios ? Or the shadow control ?
