Win XP Pro No SHutdown but Reboots

Windows XP Pro will not shutdown on my system. It reboots instead. My system is Abit KT7A MB, 256MB Ram, WD Expert 20GB and WD 10GB drives on Promise Ultra ATA 66 controller. My HP CDR-CDRW and Pioneer CD drive are on the MB controller. Occasionally, wants to reboot to the D: drive(10gb)which has Windows 98 on it. What could be the reason?

i hade the same problem. turned out to be easy cd creator v4.5.

I have the same problem but I am running nero, not ezcdcreator. Anyone else have any ideas?

I did notice this after I instaled ECDC 5 Platinum edition. I removed it and the problem went away. I need ECDC. So is there a ECDC fix for this?
