Win XP Key-Code Question

Is there a way to check in your computer, what key code you entered when you installed win xp? It's a long story why I need to know this, but in short, it is because someone borrowed my win xp cd w/o asking so I need to see if he is using the same key as me. Thanks

I dont think so, but do a search here to see if you can find more information. I believe Win9x had it in the registry, but not the NT line.

Yeah, it's not gonna be anywhere.
Why not just get a minute alone with your pal's box and Fdisk it?

try start run : winmsd worked for me then fdisk if necessary lol

hope you activated your copy, for if you did & your mate did actually use your copy, he'll have to activate it within 30 days or else he'll be locked out & have to explain to MS why the pc seems to have altered its hardware configuration if he tries to activate!
