Win XP is pissing me off

I've downloaded all patches..I've followed forum advice..but still XP has the smallest most bs quirks...as in....when I double click the dsl access icon..it takes 15 seconds before connecting...I get al kinds of warnings after boot up...all my hardware is approved supposedly...

I don't know what else to do....is it back to Win98se for me...

give me your XP nightmares..

Dont have any either! Because, my XP Pro is still sitting in its shrink wrap. I have'nt had the courage or fortitude to install and agonize myself. I called it "impulsive buying". I will wait till there are decent service packs out.

I have learned to view *.0 releases with caution!

 
Ive had relative good success with it in its infancy. It has basically everything I need to run my rig trouble free, without adding updated drivers from the manufacturers. And considering its a dual Athlon with the AMD chipset which is relatively new, I think that says a lot for it. You may just need to look closer at your hardware.
