Win XP install SATA no Floppy

Need recomendations to get 3rd party SATA drivers installed on a Win XP install on a machine with no floppy.
On install you have to press F6 then it looks on the A/floppy for drivers. This machine has 2 optical drives though. XP is not recognizing the drive from windows desktop install. (controller shows up but the drive does not)

p.s. I have never had a problem with this install using the F6 command with a floppy ready. Just cant seem to get it to work without a floppy.

thanks

p.p.s. I'd just like to take a moment to say how crappy I think the floppy requirement is for Bios updates and drivers and stuff like this. Boot from CD has been in the mainstream for years... I wish they would just let go of this stupid floppy requirement already. Its incredible how many hoops you have to jump through without one.
