A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

DRIVER_CORRUPTED_MMPOOL

If this is the first time...apears again, follow these steps:

Check to make...updates you might need.

If problems,...Select SAafe Mode.

After rebooting sometimes it won't even make it back to windows xp setup.. when this happens the msg is:

A problem has been...damage to your computer.

If this is the first...follow these steps:

Check for viruses...restart your computer.

The technical info is different...and it doesn't say its dumping the memory

LMK if you need more detals

Also, would i get more help here or in tech. support.

THanks guys :)

Try memtest to check your RAM. If you have two sticks, try one at a time and see if the error goes away with one stick. After that, if you still have trouble, try different motherboard slots. Very often bad RAm will cause various blue screen errors in Windows 2000/XP.

Is this a clean installation onto new hardware or is this an upgrade you are doing?

A stop 0xd0 is a driver corrupting the system pool. It's almost impossible to get this on a clean install with nothing else running. It's been known to happen for various reasons with upgrades (from NT to 2000 for example) though...
