win xp crashed and had to go back to win 98 computer wont reconize my digital camera help :)

I was using win XP for my digital camera just fine and the computer was all messed up would not recognize any thing and would not reboot so I had to go to my old operating system I need help getting it to recognize my digital camera under usb hub and help would be greatly appreciated

is your hub powered through the usb port, or does it have an ac adapter?

Hello thanks for the reply I am not using a hub there are only 2 usb on the back of the computer I am using one of them
