Win xp blue screen

I have a Vaio sz120 laptop. I am getting an extremely annoying memory dump error. I seem to get it only when the RAM would be rather full (ie during a vid game, when alot of windows are open) but i dont get it every time. I will get a rash of them, then be fine for 5 or 6 hours and it dosent seem specific to any program. I've gotten the error before the windows booting screen even comes up but after the post. I used window's RAM tester, its a bootable utility and let it run 20 times and could find nothing wrong with the physical memory. I tried updating the go7400 software and drivers but nvidia's software dosent detect the card. The version of the drivers on Sony's website are the same as i have installed. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have any ideas for solutions?

If you've run Memtest (not sure if "windows' RAM tester" is reliable) then it could be:
- overclocking (but this is a laptop so I assume you aren't)
- video card drivers
- heat (could be clogged fan or vents)
- bugs in one of your programs (usually a lockup or black screen though)
- virus / trojan
- hardware problem with drive, motherboard, video card

Not overclocked.
It runs extremely cool, the case never even gets warm even running hl2 for a few hours with all the graphics options maxed out.
