win xp and win98se bootloader?

hi

I currently have 2 partitions i made in fdisk, one with windows xp and one with windows 98se.

I am tired of changing the active partition in fdisk everytime i want to switch operating systems, so i need to install a bootloader.

Could someone/anyone please tell me which bootloader I could use???

thx

eli

check download.com for legendos boot manager 0.92. I was very impressed with this little program.

🙂why use a bootload?
make a partition for c: and d:
format both with c: as active
load 98 in d:
xp in c:
then choose when it asks you which one you want .
no bootloader on mine.
easy as pie 🙂🙂

could you expand on what your saying... my roommate swears that you need a bootloader to do that

how does it bring up which thing you want to boot in?

Provided that Win98 was installed before WinXP, the latter would have installed its own boot loader for you. The boot loader is in fact, a part of any NT install, whether you are multi-booting or not.
