Win XP and Umax Astra scenner

HEllo.
Just upgraded to XP and my UMAX Astra 2010u does not work. Actually windows found it, installed the drivers for it and all. Then I had to install VistaScan - the utility used to scan images - it could find the scanner (even though it is supposed to work under Win 2000). Any suggestions?

I'd try the Umax web site. I believe that's an older scanner and Umax is not known for updating their drivers for their older products. You might wait to see if they release XP drivers but I wouldn't hold your breath.

btw I have the 3400 and am waiting to see if XP will support it. Upgrading OSes is ALWAYS a PITA.
