Win XP and Outlook Express

So it could just be me, but is anyone else noticing a lag in opening and starting Outlook Express in Win XP?

I've noticed that if I disable windows messenger in group policies that it takes longer for Outlook Express to start up. That's after telling OE not to log on to messenger at startup as well.
