Win XP and formatting

Has anyone tried the quick NTFS format in Win XP? I assume it is like adding the /q switch....

Any benefit of doing a normal slow NTFS format vs. a quick one?

Is the HDD you're formatting already in NTFS? I did Quick NTFS format on my Windows 2000 NTFS partition when I installed XP and so far so good

Yea it was already NTFS.
