Win XP account problems

Hi folks, got a problem here. I just reformatted my harddrive and reinstalled Windows XP Professional, and for some reason I can't update my drivers. Any time I try to install the drivers, I get this error:

"You must be logged on as the PC administrator to install this update."

Which is weird since I can download anything and install to my computer except for the critical driver updates that need to be installed onto computer. Any help would be great.
 
Never mind, seems like the drivers I got off of HP just don't work for me. I got a few other drivers from another site and they worked.
