Win 98SE and USB problem

Need help! I've got an old M-Tech Mustang R534F with a Cyrix P-200 running on Win 98SE. I can't seem to get it to recognize the USB ports.

Just flashed the latest bios and reinstalled 98SE. Device manager reports that the SIS 7001 PCI to USB Open Host Controller is not working correctly. Properties states "disabled because BIOS for the device did not give it an IRQ".

The manual says it has an host/HUB controller for USB, but I can find nowhere in the BIOS setup any mention of USB. Any idea whats going on here?

Thanks...........

Lilith Tech,

Thanks for the suggestion but this board uses a SIS not Intel chipset. What exactly does the program do?

I'm also wondering now if the USB on the MB is not going to work, could I install a USB card in one of slots and get results? Will I still run into a bios issue?
