Win 98 won't ask for logon

In the Network part it is set to Microsoft Network Logon, but it doesn't ask for a logon whenever the computer starts up. How can I set it to do so?

Check in the Client for Microsoft Network service and make sure you have the check mark for "Login to Microsoft Network" checked.

Reboot..

If that doesn't work..

Do a search in your C: drive for "*.pwl".

Delete all that you find.

Then reboot..

If that doesn't work then you may have to uninstall and reinstall the entire TCP/IP stack. Remove all network services reboot and reinstall them.

If that doesn't work then your system may need reinstalled.
