hey guys,
i need a little memory refreshment here. where in the registry is the startup and shutdown screens, so i can add or change them myself, without using a software program? much rather do it manualy. thanks DALE

In your widows folder, you'll find ...

Logos.sys = It is Now Safe To Turn Off Your Computer

Logow.sys = Microsoft Windows98......Windows is shutting down.

I think the startup screen is supposed to be in your root directory.
I think it's called logo.sys.
I can't find it in my root directory.

If you change the extension from "sys" to "bmp", you can view them in MSPaint. You'll need some sort of program to create SUSD (Start-Up-Shut-Down) screens with the "moving" bar at the bottom of the screen.

Let me know if you find one. I'd like to put the "moving" bar at the bottom of some SUSD screens.
