win 7 graphic issue

I'm having a problem some games on win 7. The kids are trying to play monkeyquest and when the game loads some of the boxes are pinked out.

It doesn't do this on my winxp system. I'm running an e8400, gtx 260, 8 gb ram and have no problems running games or anything else, it's just these little games played in the browser.

I've tried compatability mode, classic mode, & different browser.

thanks for suggestions

yep, I know I updated once this year..there might be something newer but this is very low level graphics load to be causing this. Was hoping maybe for something that's diff in xp anw win7 since it works fine on win xp with e5200, 2gb ram and 7800gt

If you had 2 identical systems with one running XP and one running W7 I could understand thinking that the OS was the culprit. As it stands it would be just about the last thing I would look at. It doesn't matter how low level the graphics load is, your card isn't overheating it is just not displaying the game correctly which is why I suggested updating your drivers.

Also is this game browser based? If so try updating your browser or running on a different one and make sure java is up to date.
