Win 7 cant see other OS drive

I think someone else mentioned this long ago when Win 7 first came out to public.
That after installing Win 7 dual boot with vista on a diff drive, Win 7 file explorer does not see your vista installed drive. The other vista os drive is hidden.
And someone had a fix. ???
 
right click on MY Computers and click on Manage, click on Hard Drives and assign a drive letter for the drive. You should be able to see the drive then.

I think this is a safety feature rather than something that needs to be fixed. IMO the two should be kept away from each other. I removed the drive letter from the windows 7 partition in Vista so it wouldn't be visible.

If you reallly want to see it do what gcy said as it works.
