Win 2K Service Pack 2

Clean install on 2 PCs in the last week. Maybe just lucky, but SP2 seems to be a bit more stable than SP1 for me.

Also patently false.

W2K, unlike NT4, keeps track of what newer drivers are available from Service Packs that have been installed. If you apply SP2 and then later add a device to your computer that has a driver in SP2, W2K will find the driver from SP2.

You should NEVER have to reapply a Service Pack under W2K! 🙂
 
Yet another vote for SP2! Not a single glitch since installing it.
I'm going to see how long I can leave this box on now.
 
I've got SP2 installed in Windows 2000 Pro, and it works just fine. Only issue is the Radeon OpenGL driver is fubar, but I don't think that's the fault of SP2. 🙂

Edit: I must be really sleepy tonight, I forgot that I already posted to this thread 😀
