win 2k help

[ON3SHOT]

Last night i got a critical update notifacation on my other computer running windows 2K. AFter the download it did not ask for a restart which it usually does after downloading a critical update. Well i shut it off came back like 30 min later and now i have no internet connection on that machine. I thought it was maybe my lynks system with the built in firewall not letting me connect but i cant even get into the admin area to see whats going on. this computer im useing now is hooked up to the same router and works. Any ideas
