Win 2K drops My Computer files

Run Win 2K on my desktop. I have to constantly reboot to get the drives to show on My Computer Icon. I have an A, C, D and E drive and a a thumb drive. Any ideas, such as a mssing file. I can run all my apps as well as e-mail and the web.

Thanks,

Ed

Do the Drive icons appear if you do not have the Thumb drive plugged in
without having to reboot?

If so, go into Disk Management and Manually assign the drive letters to
all but the Thumb drive.

What Service Pack are you using?
