Win 2000 & Vmware ??

I just upgraded from 98se to 2000 & i have some games etc that might not run on 2000.
Should i install vmware or is there another way to run them that is better?
I have heard vmware is resource hungry is this right?
 
Don't bother with vmware for games, unless they are text-based dos games, they aren't going to run well, if at all.

Dual booting is probably your only option if the games won't run in 2000
