Win 2000 freezing Debugging Error...

I am getting a lot of errors lately. No new software or hardware for months... If I have 2 or more Internet Ecplorers running I will occassionally get a frozen window. My other internet explorers work ok... but one will be frozen. Then other programs start having problems and they all need to be shut down through task manager. Once they finally close I get an Error reading:
"This program cannot be closed. If it being debugged, please resume it or close the debugger first"

Anyone know what's going on here? I am going nuts.
Thanks

either your ram or cpu is going bad.

both my ram and cpu are on the fritz, and I get these errors all the time

edit

try re-seating your ram/cpu again.

Above means you have w2k and that Dr. Watson is debugging why that program crashed so you can't kill it yet.

It sounds like you need a newer version of IE to me. Get 6 or 5.5 if you havn't yet.

I just installed IE 6 up from 5.5sp1. I will see if that fixes it. I don't overclock my PIII and my RAM is all good quality.. if that matters. I will try resetting them if IE6 doesn't fix it. Thanks for the advice.
