Yup, he hasn't been funny since news radio. And he was only funny on the show because of the writers.

I'm rather irritated here - I saw the Pamela Anderson Roast on Comedy Central late at night totally uncensored. Every curse, every lewd gesture, uncensored.
Now it's 1:46am, and the Shatner Roast is still censored. FCC crackdown again? Geez, if they say "F-beep-K YOU!!!", everyone still knows what was said, so saying "F-beep-K YOU!!!" should be considered a bad set of sounds anyway.
Does it just take awhile before they start playing the uncensored version?



But, the Roast. Loved it.

Artie was good, though they edited out some of his best material (they played his whole set uncensored on the Stern show). Honestly I think he might have been better if he'd been completely sober - to some extent his delivery lacked crispness. I would put him third, after Greg Giraldo and Lisa Lampanelli. Betty White and George Takei were great as well.

Did that guy Don Vito from the Bam Margera show get arrested or something? My "Don Vito" comes from the Godfather, not from that show.

It was pretty good, not as good as when they Roasted Drew Carey I thought, but wayyyyy better than when they did Chevy Chase (that was more sad than funny).
