Will Zone Alarm work with ICS in Win98SE?

After I installed ICS, I had to bump the Zone Alarm internet security setting all the way down to low to allow the host computer (haven't gotten to the clients yet) to access web pages. According to Zone Alarm, it should work ok on medium. But for me it doesn't. Is there any way I can use Zone Alarm on this computer, or should I just uninstall it (I think the low security level is just about useless)? Thanks

Used ZA with 98SE ICS worked fine but seems like i had to enable something to be a internet sever under Programs menu in zone alarm toolbar.....just had similar experience with w2k server and had to enable several modules to act as severs(still trying to understand what all is running on it) good luck but i had good results running it on machine with modem and connecting two other 98se machines.

wwwwwwwwwwwoooooaaaaaa!!!

you may have misunderstood me, yes in windows 98SE it is better to select Network Server under system properties but that, along with installing system as sever(esp 2k) is not what i meant

under programs in zone alarm it will list something that is trying to be a server(sorry cant remember exact name as i'm now messing with 2k) but it will have red x's where you allow access under your current security settings...need to give them the green check...hope this helps
