I'll consider watching it only if it's ever released on UHD Blu-ray (must be in 4K 3D-Atmos)/YouTube (2160p)/Netflix/Hulu/Amazon/Redbox./Kodi. 😵

Actually, I was secretly praying for a remake of the original Zapruder epic since exactly 14 days after the election. I used to be atheist/agnostic, but I have found Jesus. I put aside a party hat, kazoo, noisemaker and huge hunting knife, so I can go down to the local Tea Party coffee-house and whoop it up in celebration. I won't HOPE that somebody loses it and puts a hand on me, but I'll be ready for it.

Who the hell watches these speeches other than paid pundits? The only time I will ever watch a presidential address is after a major military attack on par with 9-11.
This. This election cycle thoroughly broke me from being a political junkie, although honestly I never watch these things anyway. However, I foresee drinking games which are epic unto alcohol poisoning.

There was once a time in early 1976 when a work-colleague gave me tickets to sit within 35 feet of Reagan at Fort Worth's Bronco Bowl. At that time, I thought I was a "Republican." However, I noticed even then that his delivery had no substance, and I kept dozing off at every other well-worn platitude.

You could say that I was otherwise a mildly-inclined fence-sitter. Those days are gone. I wish I could simply avoid all the political and news-info. But if ignorance is bliss, I'd rather know what's happening than be either stupid, ignorant or blissfully out of the loop.

Had no clue he was even giving a speech tonight until I saw this thread topic. I will be watching Wizards/Warriors and Caps/Rangers.

Fact check: the spectacle starts at 8pm EST, 0100+1 Zulu time, correct? Using common core methods I come up with a start time of 6pm Arizona time. The pizza place is 5 minutes out, five minutes return, so I need to order the pizza by no later than 1725, (0025+1 Zulu). Do LCD TVs implode like CRTs as all the smart is sucked out of the room?

Men in Black II starts at six post meridian. I've never seen it. Then again, I've not seen this speech either. Will there be much overlap? What to do...

Just more blah, blah, blah. They all blah, blah, blah regardless of party affiliation and I've never watched any of them. I prefer to read about the high points along with some analysis the next day. But it's usually the typical blah, blah, blah analysis. As was said earlier unless something earth shattering has taken place, I don't care to watch. This is just regularly scheduled programming from a .gov perspective with little actual value. It's just words, anybody can spout them. As has been said, actions speak louder than words.

So how many times will they stand up and clap during his address. I've counted 3 in the first 2 minutes. 😉🙄

Maybe too late, and you can use something else.

But here's a little product I picked up today:

Uber Screen Clean Kit

Instead of throwing beer-bottles, you can cough up a really disgusting "Lung-er" and spit on the TV. This kit will allow you to wipe it clean after watching the Disgusting Traitor-in-Chief on TV tonight.

"Hi. This is the electronics department?"

"Whaddya need?"

"Some kind of cleaning kit for my TV screen, so I can wipe the goo-ey Lung-ers off it after watching that disgusting white-trash pig and asshole tonight. You know -- the so-called President?"

I have discovered that Trump supporters are all sissies and cowards. You can tell who they are though. They walk away looking all worried and depressed. Normal people sort of grin.

If I were stupid enough to vote for their asshole, I'd feel worried and depressed, too. But their Asshole Excuse makes me worried and depressed, instead.

Ah. Caesar's even got his eye trained on the tube.

Truth is, I've been listening all this time, and I'm only moderately disgusted. He is as insincere as . . . usual.

Thing is -- about what he says. Beyond politics, I despise him as a person, as a human being(?), as a malevolent force. Well churched! If that asshole has been to church for his "little" wafer and his "little" wine, it was all for show. Write letters to the Pope asking for an Exorcism in Lafayette Square, in front of the White House.

If I'd said that about 0bama I'd have permanent points and a vacation along with it. Enjoy your freedom here to disgorge your hate.

Thanks. I'm not sure I've had enough coffee to deal with it after reading one page of that thread it seems line chaos. From the Scottish Play,

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Need much more coffee

So I didn't watch and I don't think I'll bother. Will someone please tell me what to think? 😛

CNN conducted a poll:

Wolf Blitzer and Rachel Madcow are on suicide watch.

Wait, is CNN not fake news anymore because it had positive news for Trump? I lose track.

Regardless, State of the Union speeches are almost always received well, here's the same poll for Obama:

Obama's first speech to a joint session of Congress got 92% approval to Trump's 78%. In fact, he got better ratings from that poll for most of his joint session speeches.

Hayabusa wanted someone to tell him what to think, and according to the MSM preachers, that is their job (not President Trump's), so I gave him what he asked for.
