I was old and grey when I first started positng here when this forum was interesting back before all you Kiddie Lamers made this place another AOL Chatroom.
 
Just a joke MD. Sysopt was a great tech forum then earthlink bought it from the creator Scott Wainer and later subsequently got rid of him. Mass exodus followed. There are no rumors of that happening here tho and I didn't intend to start any. 🙂
 
sure why not🙂 when your friends are all dead and stuff, why the hell not. better then how it is now with those poor old ppl that can't be bothered to use computers. i'd imagine that being old in the future won't be so bad, the net, all the time in the world to play multiplayer videogames. old ppl laying smackdown all over the globe🙂
 
when some of these peeps here are old and grey they won't have a choice. Everyone's brain will be connected like a borg ship and whatever you think will instantly appear on these forums.
 
Not that i don't like it here, but when i am old and grey, i ma going to be walking down a street somewhere in Florida with gold shoes, and amulti-colored jogging outfit with big sunglasses and gawdy jewelry!!!!

The difference between ATOT of 3 years and ATOT now is night and day. 3 years ago it was wild, interesting and the average age was 30. Now it's extremely silly, downright annoying and the average age is what..16? Does that mean everyb0ody under the age of 20 are idiots? No, but many are.

It use to be that the Hot Deals Forum was the Red Headed stepchild of Anandtech. No more, compared to this Forum that place is Heavan. You know everybody is complaining about not enough bandwidth for Anandtech Forums. A great way top regain some of the bandwidth would be to close this Forum down for good. Hell you kiddies could always go back to your AOL Chatrooms..same difference.

Hate to say it but Red has a good point. When threads like "Which way do you wipe" stay on page 1 for hours you gotta question quality. What's embarrasing though is the fact that I've allowed myself to get away from quality posting and been guilty of acting like an AOL chatroom kiddie on way too many occasions to count😱
