My friend just turned 21 and the only thing he wants to order is a pina colada. I always give him shit about it and he never ends up ordering it.

Before I had surgery done to push my stomach back down below my diaphragm(sp?) I drank nothing but beer at bars. But since then I can drink probably one beer and I'm full. It can even be Coors Light, probably the most watered down beer out there, and I'm full. Now I've had to adjust what I drink. Now my drink of choice is either a Jack n Coke or Captain n Coke.

Except for one particular bar where I used to live. It's at the Main Exchange in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. They call it a Bionic Beaver. If you're not careful, it'll knock you right off your stool. Back when I lived in FDL my buddies and I stopped there to watch some Red Wings hockey. It was during the playoffs and it was double bubble, so I got 2 of those. I just kept drinking my first one as if it was kool-aid. I had my second one done within 5 minutes of ordering. I got up to go get some popcorn...and fell right on my ass. The rest of the night is a blur to me.

For the most part no. I do not like sugary sweet milkshakes with alcohol. Sweet & Sour or a Long Island Iced Tea is about as "girly" as I go.

One hundred dollars for an appletini that was quite frankly light on the tini?

I get sick if I drink something too fruity with alcohol.

Long Islands, Margaritas, and rum and cokes are the only mixed drinks I like.

eh, they're ok. as everyone has stated, the sugar+liquor thing has started to get to me. Except pina coladas, I stil like those. Although, I ordered a Long Isalnd once and a friend commented "what a girly drink" and I was thoroughly confused. Does anyone else consider a long island girly?

I never considered a Long Island Iceteas girly... Maybe because they usually (if made right) taste like SHIT and are quite strong.

I never order that fruity shit.

I really and truly enjoy the taste of whiskey and some beers. I also REALLY like shots of tequila chased with lime. If I'm at a party and there's nothing but vodka or gin I'll drink it with tonic and a slice of lime but otherwise I won't even drink.

I order whatever I'm in the mood for. Sometimes thats beer, some times its scotch, some times its something fruity. To hell what what every else thinks.

I like the hell out of a well-make pina colada...but then again, I LIKE pineapple and coconut. (I make my pina coladas with coconut ice cream)

I have a couple of recipes from Mama's Fish House on Maui that I use once in a while, including their Scorpion...that mofo has 4 different rums in it, including 151, and packs quite a sting...

When we're in Hawaii, I drink all the tropical-fruity drinks...as long as they don't have vodka in them That stuff gives me an instant headache...before the first drink is gone, but rum is pure goodness.

I like whiskies as well though...a good scotch, either neat or on the rocks, a good Canadian whiskey the same way, (nothing less than Crown Royal please) or even a good Irish whiskey. Can't stand any of the bourbons...the smell of most of them makes me sick. (might have something to do with trying to drink 2 fifths of Bourbon Supreme when I was a youth...)

Yeah I usually get a Long Island because they are strong as shit. I don't think it's a girly drink at all.

None of your options apply to me.

I've had drinks like that when I'm sitting on the beach down in Key West or the Bahamas but that's pretty much it.

They have to much sugar in them which usually makes you feel like shit later one also.

One of your pictures is a mojito which I'll definitely order, also have no problem ordering Long Islands but I hate it when they give it to me in some long crazy glass. I'll usually ask they put it in a normal glass. None of those are 'girly' drinks. Anything else I would classify as 'girly' I would probably only order if I was sitting on the beach at an all inclusive resort.

Hard cider, baileys, rum and coke, what ever tastes good.

Beer is piss and Jack tastes like crap even if you mix it.

Screw manly drinks, I'll have something I can enjoy.

For one they are expensive and too sweet. I am hardly ever in the mood for that shit, it ruins my drinking. It's like chewing guy and drinking beer.

You chew guys? How many beers does it take to get you to that point?

Here we go again, the quaintessential ATOT thread where straight muscular men making USD $250K+ a year and shrugging off Hollywood's finest litter of sex kittens debate the merit of alcoholic drinks that aren't 16x distilled or have alcohol content less than 95%.

I drink scotch.

But that doesn't stop me from ordering a Malibu & Coke, Midori Sour, or whatever other drinks I feel like ordering. Why do I care what you think?
